In connection with the sale of batteries and rechargeable batteries, we as a distributor are obliged by the Battery Act to draw your attention to the following:
Please ensure that you dispose of your old batteries at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer, as required by law. Disposal in normal household waste is prohibited and violates the Battery Act. The disposal is free of charge for you. You are also welcome to return the batteries/accumulators purchased from us free of charge after use. In any case, the batteries/accumulators must be returned to us with sufficient postage.

Please note that batteries and accumulators that contain harmful substances are clearly labelled with the following symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin.
The chemical symbol for the corresponding pollutant can be found under the symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin. Examples are: (Pb) lead, (Cd) cadmium, (Hg) mercury.
