electrical and electronic equipment act
The german ‘Law on the Sale, Return and Environmentally Sound Disposal of Electrical and Electronic Equipment’ (ElektroG) obliges us as a distributor and you as a consumer to handle electrical and electronic equipment that is no longer needed in a responsible manner.
We therefore take back your old device free of charge to ensure proper disposal in cooperation with a professional disposal company. You can find a suitable location near you with the E-SCHROTT-RÜCKGABEFINDER: https://e-schrott-entsorgen.org/index.html
Labelling of old devices
Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin must not be disposed of with household waste. You are obliged to take it to an authorised collection point. This could be a local recycling centre.
Batteries/batteries/lamps
Batteries or rechargeable batteries that are not permanently installed, as well as lamps that can be removed from the old device without being destroyed, must be separated before being returned. They must be disposed of separately from the rest of the lamp housing.
